Awesome costume! I won a contest with it!

The reviews were dead on and I was very happy with this costume. I won a contest with it, in part due to a beard I have been working on for months. Everyone said I looked real. Tips. I always fall between medium and large in . 5’10” and 180 lbs. I got the medium and it fit perfectly. I think I would have been swimming in the large and I don’t like very loose clothing. I am happy I picked the medium. You need your own pants and boots. I picked black sweats with pockets, otherwise you will be pocketless and that sucks. It was very hot for a Florida costume where most people were almost naked and comfortable. That is not the costume’s fault, it would be perfect for most places… But I was sweating, especially because I added a wig. The helmet was very comfortable and looked as good as the plastic ones, but was a little big without a wig (was perfect with a wig).
Great costume for the price

Bought this for a party and was very pleased with the quality of the costume. It’s a step up from the cheaper stuff you find in most of the seasonal mall stores and had a very “authentic” look if what you want is an idealized Hollywood-style Viking. I added a wig and a “Thor” hammer to the outfit (not included) and with my own beard in place it all came together pretty well.

First, the description can be misleading. The last bullet point says “Cape with celtic trim accents and medallions, pants and toy sword not included” makes it sounds like the cape may not be included… it is. So don’t worry about that.
It looked awesome!

This costume was amazing, not like the cheap costumes you get from party planning stores. It was great quality and looked absolutely amazing. You do have to provide your own pants since the costume does not come with a pair. However, my boyfriend threw on a pair of comfy track sweats and that did the trick. I have to mention, since it it such good material, you WILL get hot in this if you’re walking around in it a lot. The tunic and long sleeve are one piece so there is no way to take off the ‘undershirt’ if it gets too hot. The cape is thick and heavy, as are the buckles and chains on it. They are solid and heavy, not crappy silicone/plastic. The hat and the horns come separate so you need a blow drier to mold the holes to insert the horns. I heated the hat for about 30 seconds, squeezed them until it formed a circle opening and ran it under the faucet (it helped cool faster). The hat is plastic! YOUR HEAD WILL SWEAT. Just keep in mind, the sword is not included nor are the pants. However, i found that the sword was not needed considering how detailed the costume was. I received great feedback from everyone on the street. It is an amazing costume.
At first I wasn’t sure what to expect when i first unwrapped it. But OMG was it the hit of the party! Costume is awesome, but I will say it wasn’t easy to find a pair of boots to pair with it. The only drawbacks of the costume are as follows:
Just what I needed for a Viking party in Norway!

Fully met my expectations and was just what I needed for a Viking party on the Oslo fjord. Minor issue: Belt buckle can easily become undone.
This costume is very high quality compared to the ones in the seasonal Halloween stores. It’s super comfortable and well designed. The cape has metal clasps but uses velcro to attach one side to the chest chain. It held very well. I won 2nd place at my office Halloween party while wearing this along with Thor’s hammer and a wig/beard combo.
Vikings didn’t wear helmets but this costume makes me wish they did!
Wow! This costume is incredible. Really nice design. The clasps on the cape are actually metal along with the belt buckle. I will say though that the helmet needs some work. It is made entirely of rubber with plastic horns. To shape it properly I used a hair dryer and made it all smooth and somewhat symmetrical. I also decided to point the horns down because I thought it looked cooler. You could also just keep the horns off the helmet because Fun fact!:… Vikings didn’t wear horns. Becides the helmet the belt buckle is a little to heavy for the fabric belt. It kinda sags down. I would say if you had the time you could get some leather and make your own belt so it’s a little bit stronger. I also had a hard time fitting my forearms though the hair part of the shirt. They use some fabric that looks like leather to hold it to your forearms but it is quite difficult fitting mine through there. Overall though! Great costume and looks great!
Bought size xl. I’m 5’7 200 lbs, chest 48. The tunic was a little tight, but acceptable. The sleeves were very long for me, but with a few safety pins the fit is good. The safety pins are easily hidden under the overlap of the tunic short sleeve and the forearm extension. The belt is a cloth material and will not support any weapon type accessory. The fake leather straps on legs and forearms are cheesy. Helmet is rubber and will have to be reshaped with a hair dryer. The chain used to hold the cape on is attached using velcro. Add black sweat pants, black t-shirt and wig.
